her cuban dress

Colin bought a sweet dress in Cuba last year, anticipating a little girl we were hoping and praying for.

We had no idea who that little girl would be, when he bought this dress last March, however, the day we arrived home from our vacation, there was a voice message on our phone from a special lady, who, when she says: "I have good news for your family!", it can only mean one thing... a precious little one! Not even a year later, that little girl is now our daughter! What a blessing she is to our family - we couldn't love her more! God is SO good.

And this week she'll be wearing her Cuban dress, IN Cuba! We're heading away for a week and we're looking forward to a little relaxing and family time. Each time we mention the word "Cuba", Phebe runs around the house shouting "Yeahhhhhhhhhhh, Cuba Cuba Cuba!" with both her hands up in the air. Of course, she has no idea what is going on, but is following her big sisters lead! She loves clothes, when I put a dress on her she looks at herself in the mirror and says "Niiiiiice" and then follows that up with "Pretty".
