We just love our vacations and time in Picton.
We started off our second day in Picton with ice-cream. Delicious home-made ice-cream. Lilah picked the cookie dough flavour and Phebe had banana, walnut and maple. What better way to start off the morning! We then headed to the Sandbanks for another day at the beach. I would say it's my girls favourite thing in the whole wide world. Sun, sand and water - they could not have been happier.
On our last day we did a spot of shopping in Picton - Lilah was desperate to get to the dollar store and spend that toonie Baba gave her! She and Phebe both settled on calculators, that could hang around their necks! Phebe thought it was a cell phone, but we made her none the wiser! And then we went back to our favourite little restaurant 'The Painted Peppercorn'. Everything is homemade, local and organic. Absolutely delicious.
And finally a trip on the ferry on our way home. The last photo is of the girls watching and waiting for the ferry. Notice their little toes in the water. It was SO hot!
