her sweet tooth!

"Pease Mom?"

Why yes. I absolutely do have a REALLY hard time saying "no" to that sweet little begging face every time she walks over to me with the box of Quality Street!! Which she tends to do MANY times a day. She'll walk over and just look at me with THOSE eyes and a questioning "Mama?"

When I say "yes", why that smile is as beautiful as it gets! It'll be almost worth feeling like the guiltiest Mom alive when she attends her first dental appointment!

Yikes! Save me please!

PS - Our house is not cold, in fact the temperature sits at 22°C all day. However, the girls are constantly role playing in their hats and scarves... maybe it's a subliminal message to me, that they want to be outside! The past few days have been REALLY cold here in the capital, at around -24°C. Brrr!

  1. It is so hard to say no! Luckily, Silas does not have a sweet tooth! He does not like sugar at all... the problem is he thinks he should have it, because everyone else does and then he won't eat it! The girls have no problem with sugar!

  2. Jill, I dont know why but I didnt think you would get Quality Street in Canada? No idea why I assumed that!

    As children, we always bought our Dad a big box of those for Christmas and now Gracie & I buy them for Mark.......last year we kept them under our tree and just ate one every now and then. Not this year...... our girl loves them too too much :)

    Im glad to see Phebe is back to her normal wee self.

    Ps I couldnt say no that cute face either BTW!

  3. Oh, she would totally get ANYTHING she wanted from me! That is one irresistable little face.

    Gin =)

  4. I would have a problem saying no to that sweet face as well!
